Sterra Titan — Screen Shows E1 or E2Updated an hour ago
If your Sterra Titan control panel is displaying the error code E1 or E2, please be reassured that your machine hasn't permanently failed.
These specific codes indicate that one of the highly sensitive internal climate or temperature sensors has read a brief data variance outside its normal operating range. To protect the sophisticated internal filtration and extraction systems, the machine temporarily pauses operations and locks the screen until the sensors can stabilize.
Resolving this code simply requires giving the machine's internal components time to completely cool down and reset.
The Reset Process
Because these sensors monitor internal thermal levels, a quick 10-second power flick will not work. The machine requires a full, uninterrupted rest period to completely clear its memory lines.
Turn Off and Unplug the Unit:
Flip the main power toggle switch on your Sterra Titan to the OFF position, then safely unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
Leave Unplugged for Exactly 60 Minutes:
Leave the machine completely powered down and untouched for a full 60 minutes. This extended pause allows the internal condenser coils to rest, temperatures to balance out completely to ambient room levels, and the sensor memory to fully drain.
Plug Back In and Power On:
After the hour has passed, plug the power cord firmly back into the wall outlet and flip the machine's power switch back to ON. The internal computer will run a fresh boot-up scan, the E1 or E2 code will clear, and the Titan will return to normal operation.
What to Do If the Error Code Returns
For the vast majority of users, letting the sensors cool down for an hour entirely resolves the issue. However, if you complete the full 60-minute reset and the E1 or E2 error code immediately reappears the moment the machine boots up, a sensor may be disconnected or require a physical replacement.
Please do not attempt to open the machine or dismantle any internal parts yourself. Instead, reach out to our Customer Support Team right away.
