Sterra Titan — Buzzing SoundUpdated 2 hours ago
If your Sterra Titan is making an unexpected vibrating, humming, or rattling sound, please be reassured that your machine's cooling system is functioning perfectly.
This noise is typically caused by a minor alignment shift during shipping or daily use. Inside the unit, a flexible cooling pipe has drifted slightly and is resting directly against the inside of the back metal panel. When the cooling system turns on, the normal operation of the machine creates a harmless resonance (vibrating buzz) against that panel.
Resolving this noise takes just a few seconds and requires no tools.
The Quick Adjustment Step
You can easily nudge the internal pipe back into its original, silent position by gently resetting the alignment of the outer back panel.
Locate the Sound: Step to the side or back of your Sterra Titan while it is humming or vibrating.
Apply Gentle Taps: Using the palm of your hand, give a few firm but gentle taps (knocks) on the top-left and top-right corners of the back metal panel.
What to look for: This slight external vibration is designed to safely shift the internal cooling pipe a few millimeters away from the metal wall, instantly restoring its original factory alignment and stopping the rattling noise completely.
When to Contact Support
For the vast majority of users, a gentle tap on the corners instantly separates the pipe from the panel and silences the unit.
However, if the buzzing noise continues, or if it stops but returns heavily a few hours later, the internal pipe or a securing clip may need to be adjusted by hand from the inside. Please do not attempt to unscrew the back panel yourself. Instead, reach out to our Customer Support Team.
