If your Sterra S touch screen has gone completely dark and the buttons do not illuminate or respond when touched, your machine is experiencing a total power delivery lock.
When this happens, the internal system freezes operations as a protective safeguard. To protect the machine's circuitry and ensure your safety, do not try to hard-reset the machine repeatedly or dismantle the front display glass.
Please follow these 3 simple steps to secure your unit and get a specialist assigned to your home:
Step 1: Safely Disconnect the Power
To allow the internal power boards to completely rest and prevent any electrical straining, go to your wall socket and turn the power switch OFF.
Carefully unplug the Sterra S power cord from the wall outlet entirely.
Step 2: Keep the Machine Unplugged
Do not try to plug the machine into a different kitchen outlet to "test" it. If an internal component has experienced an electrical fault, testing it repeatedly on other outlets can damage your home's circuit breaker.
Step 3: Connect Directly to a Customer Support Specialist
