Sterra S — Slow Water FlowUpdated 2 hours ago

If your Sterra S is suddenly trickling, dispensing slowly, or taking much longer than usual to fill a glass, the system is likely suffering from a drop in incoming water pressure.

Follow these 3 quick checks to restore your machine's standard, steady water flow:

The Water Pressure Restore Method

1.1. Check for shared water usage:Isolate the pipeline.

Make sure no other heavy water appliances (like washing machines, dishwashers, or kitchen taps) are running at the exact same time you are using the Sterra S. If your water stream returns to normal once those appliances stop, your home's baseline water pressure may simply be split too many ways.

2.2. Fully open your main supply valves:Maximizes incoming volume.

Look under your kitchen sink where your main water line connects to the purifier's feed line. Ensure that both your main household raw water supply valve and the dedicated water purifier feed valve are turned completely to the open position.

3.3. Inspect the blue shut-off valve:Clears line restrictions.

Locate the small blue valve attached directly along the thin water tubing feeding into your Sterra S. This handle must sit perfectly parallel (in a straight line) with the tube itself. If it is turned even slightly sideways, it restricts water flow and causes a slow trickle.

Still flowing too slowly?

If all of your valves are wide open and you aren't sharing the water line with other taps, your internal filters might be heavily saturated and clogged with sediment from your local water supply, which naturally slows down delivery over time. Connect with our team.
