Sterra Ray — E1 or E2 Error on ScreenUpdated 3 hours ago

If your Sterra Ray Dehumidifier has stopped running and is showing an E1 or E2 code on its display panel, it means the machine's internal monitoring system has encountered a reading glitch.

  • E1 Code: The internal Temperature Sensor is having trouble communicating with the control board.

  • E2 Code: The internal Humidity Sensor is experiencing a reading interruption.

When either sensor loses its connection, the machine safely pauses all dehumidifying cycles to protect its internal compressor. Please try this quick system reboot to clear the screen:

The 30-Minute Power Reset Sequence

Sometimes, a minor fluctuation in your home's electrical current can temporarily freeze the sensor's memory cache. A deep power drainage usually clears this up:

  1. Press the power button to turn the machine off.

  2. Completely unplug the power cord from your wall outlet. (Do not leave it plugged in, as the machine needs to be completely disconnected from power to reset).

  3. Let the Sterra Ray rest undisturbed for 30 full minutes. This allows the internal computer chips to clear their temporary error logs.

  4. While waiting, ensure the back filter panel is clean and free of heavy dust blockages.

  5. Plug the unit directly back into a primary wall socket and turn it on.

Still Seeing E1 or E2?

If the error code pops back onto the screen immediately after the 30-minute reset, it means the internal sensor wiring has either shifted out of place or failed.

Please turn off and unplug the machine for safety, and contact our Support Team with your original order number. Let our team know that you have already attempted the "30-Minute Power Reset,"

  1. Log in to our Customer Support Portal.

  2. Submit a support ticket describing the issue.

  3. Attach a short video (at least 1 minute long) showing the error happening. This will help our technical team diagnose and resolve the issue much faster for you.

Thank you for your patience, and we look forward to getting this sorted out!
