Sterra Nova — Smart Life App Shows Filter at 0 PercentUpdated 6 hours ago

If you have just replaced your Sterra Nova filter but the Smart Life App is still stuck showing 0% Filter Life Remaining, your app's digital counter simply needs to be manually cleared and refreshed.

Please follow these steps to reset the counter and get your app back in sync:

1. Reset the Filter Counter Inside the App

  1. Open the Smart Life App on your phone.

  2. Select your Sterra Nova from your list of connected devices.

  3. Tap on Settings (usually located in the bottom right corner or represented by a gear icon at the top).

  4. Look for the option labeled "Filter Reset" or "Reset Filter Life".

  5. Tap it and confirm. The app display should instantly jump back up to 100%.

2. Perform a Hardware Sync (If the app stays at 0%)

If the app refuses to update after tapping the reset button, the connection between your home Wi-Fi and the machine might be lagging.

  1. Leave the Sterra Nova plugged in and turned on.

  2. Go to the physical machine and press and hold the Timer Button for 5 seconds until you hear a beep. This forces the physical circuit board to reset its internal timer.

  3. Close the Smart Life App completely (force close it from your phone's background apps), wait 10 seconds, and open it again. The app should now read 100%.

3. The Last Resort: Re-pair the Device

If the app is still stubbornly showing 0%, the cloud data profile has crashed. Unpair the purifier from the app, delete it from your device list, and click the "+" icon to reconnect the Sterra Nova to your Wi-Fi network. This forces a clean data wipe and will fix the percentage reading.
