Sterra Nova — Does Not Turn OnUpdated 9 hours ago

If your Sterra Nova completely refuses to power on, shows no display lights, and remains unresponsive when plugged in, please be completely reassured. This does not automatically mean your water dispenser has suffered a catastrophic failure!

This symptom typically points to a localized Power Line Interruption. When a premium appliance won't turn on, the issue is often caused by a tripped wall socket, an unseated power connection, or a temporary safety power lock on the central motherboard.

You can easily isolate the root cause, test your home electrical source, and verify your hardware connection by completing this quick diagnostic sequence:

The Power Source Isolation & Hardware Sequence

Please complete these steps systematically to determine exactly where the power delivery is breaking down:

1.Audit and Verify the Wall Outlet Terminal

Unplug your Sterra Nova's power adapter completely from the wall socket.

Take a working household appliance (such as a phone charger, lamp, or kettle) and plug it directly into that exact same wall socket to test it:

  • If the test appliance does not work: The wall socket's circuit breaker or fuse is likely tripped. Move your Sterra Nova to a completely different wall outlet in a different room to restore power.

  • If the test appliance works perfectly: The wall socket is completely healthy and delivering live electricity. Proceed to Step 2.

2.Check and Seat the Main Cable Connection

Follow the power cord from the wall outlet down to the intake jack on your Sterra Nova.

Ensure that the power cable is pushed completely, firmly, and squarely into the machine. A slightly loose or unseated connection will block electrical currents from reaching the system. Once firmly seated, press the Power Button on the main interface again.

What to Do If the Power Failure Persists

For most users, switching to a verified, working wall outlet or firmly seating the power cable will immediately restore electricity to the unit.

However, if you have confirmed that your wall socket is live, but your Sterra Nova stubbornly remains completely dark and unresponsive, an internal power cable variance, an integrated circuit board lock, or a component-level defect is preventing the system from initializing.

Because the internal power lines and electronic arrays are permanently factory-sealed to maintain electrical and water safety, they must be evaluated by our technical specialists. Please log into our Customer Support portal to hand over your file:

1.Record a Continuous 1-Minute Verification Video

Set your Sterra Nova near a working wall socket. Record a continuous video of at least 1 minute capturing your power test.

Start the video by plugging a working alternative item (like a phone charger) into the outlet to prove it has power. Then, plug your Sterra Nova into that exact same outlet, check that the cable is firmly pushed into the machine, and press the Power Button on camera several times to show that the display stays completely blank and dark. Let the camera run continuously for a full minute to capture the lack of electricity.

2.Submit Your Direct Support Request.

Log into your account portal, attach your 1-minute video, and copy-and-paste the following message directly to our live agents:

  1. Log in to our Customer Support Portal.

  2. Submit a support ticket describing the issue.

  3. Attach a short video (at least 1 minute long) showing the error happening. This will help our technical team diagnose and resolve the issue much faster for you.

📌 Support Message Template: "My Sterra Nova has no power and will not turn on. I have followed the Help Center guide to isolate the issue, verifying that the wall outlet is fully functional with other devices and that the power cable is firmly connected, but the dispenser remains completely unresponsive. I have attached the required 1-minute troubleshooting video demonstrating the live socket test and the unpowered unit for immediate file handover to a live agent."
