If your Sterra Nova’s power button has become completely unresponsive, preventing you from turning the machine on or off normally via the control panel and forcing you to unplug the power cord from the wall to shut it down, please be completely reassured. This does not mean your home electrical wiring is faulty!
This behavior indicates a localized Control Panel Logic Freeze or an Interface Circuit Disruption. The capacitive touch panel and the main power relay communicate via delicate signal lines on the internal Printed Circuit Board (PCB). If a component-level system lock occurs, or if moisture micro-seeps under the touch interface, the panel can stop processing touch commands entirely, leaving the machine stuck in its last operational state.
Because the control interface and internal power relays are permanently factory-sealed to maintain electrical and water-handling safety, they cannot be safely disassembled or rewired through home troubleshooting steps.

Then, lower the camera to show yourself physically unplugging the power cord from the wall to force the unit to shut down. Let the camera run continuously for a full minute to clearly document this power override behavior.
