Sterra Flow Pro — Weak Suction ForceUpdated 18 hours ago
If you notice a sudden drop in your vacuum's pulling power, or if your Sterra Flow Pro is failing to pick up heavier debris from your floors, please be completely reassured. This does not mean your high-velocity digital motor is failing or losing its strength over time!
This symptom is caused by an Airflow Static Bottleneck. Your Sterra Flow Pro relies on a high-speed, unimpeded vortex of air rushing through the system to lift and carry dirt into the canister. If the dust cup is filled past capacity, the HEPA filter becomes compacted with fine dust particles, or a stray object blocks the extension tube, the internal air pressure instantly drops. This restricts the vacuum's ability to pull air efficiently, making the suction feel weak even though the motor itself is spinning at maximum velocity.
You can easily break this bottleneck and restore a rock-solid, deep-cleaning suction vortex at home by completing this systematic airway restoration sequence:
The Airway Restoration & Filter Refresh Sequence
Please turn off the power and remove the battery pack before performing these checks:
1.Empty the Dust Cup and Clear the Intake Throat
Press the quick-release latch to open the bottom door of your clear dust canister. Empty all trapped debris directly into your household trash bin.
Ensure the dirt level has not breached the molded MAX fill line. Take a quick look inside the upper throat of the dust cup to make sure no large debris is clinging to the internal mesh shroud.
2.Replace or Refresh the HEPA Filter Core
Twist open the filter compartment on the handle assembly and extract the HEPA filter. Fine, microscopic dust particles can clog the delicate pleated fibers of the filter, choking the motor's exhaust flow.
Swap out your current HEPA filter with a brand-new, clean replacement filter. (Note: If you prefer to wash your old filter under tap water to reuse it later, you must let it air-dry completely for a full 24 hours before reassembly to prevent moisture from locking up the airflow.)
3.Clear the Extension Rod and Floor Brush Pathways
Detach the aluminum extension rod from both the handheld body and the floor brush nozzle. Look directly through the hollow tube against a light source to verify it is completely clear.
Turn the floor brush nozzle over and inspect the intake neck. Use scissors to snip away any tightly wound hair or carpet fibers wrapped around the soft roller that might be blocking the primary entry slot.
What to Do If the Suction Force Remains Weak
For 95% of users, emptying the dust cup, popping in a fresh HEPA filter, and clearing out the extension tube will immediately bring back the vacuum's original, high-performance suction.
However, if you have meticulously cleared all channels, installed a brand-new filter, and confirmed the pathways are 100% hollow, but the vacuum stubbornly fails to generate strong suction, a minor seal alignment variance inside the canister or an internal electronic motor calibration fault may be present.

1.Record a Continuous Verification Video
Ensure your vacuum has a fresh filter installed. Record a continuous video of at least 1 minute capturing your suction test.
Start the video by showing your clean dust cup and empty extension rod tube against the light. Then, assemble the unit, turn it on, and try to vacuum a small pile of standard debris (like rice or paper confetti) to demonstrate the weak suction to our engineering squad. Let the camera run continuously for a full minute.

📌 Support Message Template: "The suction force on my Sterra Flow Pro remains weak. I have followed the Help Center guide to empty the dust cup, verify that the extension rod and floor brush head are entirely free of blockages, and replaced the HEPA filter with a clean one, but the airflow bottleneck persists. I have attached the required 1-minute troubleshooting video demonstrating the weak suction for immediate review by a live agent."
