Sterra Flow Pro — Water Mark Shown on DisplayUpdated 18 hours ago

If you look closely at your Sterra Flow Pro display panel and notice what appears to be a water mark, smudge, or minor surface blemish underneath the glass, please be completely reassured. This does not mean your vacuum has suffered internal water damage, or that moisture has breached the delicate electronic components inside your handle!

This visual symptom is actually caused by a Micro-Cling Protective Film Distortion. During factory assembly, an ultra-thin, highly transparent acrylic protection film is mechanically applied directly over the pristine LED screen and battery indicator area to shield it from microscopic scratches during packaging and transport. Because this film clings tightly via static and heat, tiny microscopic air pockets or faint static patterns can develop beneath it over time. When light shines through the LED panel, these tiny pockets create an optical illusion that looks exactly like a dried water droplet or a smudge.

Your actual high-definition display panel is completely flawless beneath this layer. You can easily clear the smudge and reveal your pristine screen at home by completing this quick removal sequence:

The Screen Cling Removal & Clarification Sequence

Please turn off the vacuum before performing this quick check:

1.Locate the Acrylic Edge

Examine the outer perimeter of your vacuum's shiny display screen panel carefully under bright lighting.

Look closely along the very edge of the plastic bezel to find the nearly invisible boundary line of the factory-applied acrylic sheet.

2.Peel and Lift the Protective Shield

Use the tip of your fingernail or a soft piece of adhesive tape pressed firmly onto the corner of the screen to gently catch the edge of the film.

Slowly and smoothly peel the transparent protection film completely off the battery/display area and discard it.

3.Conduct a Visual Clarity Check:

Turn the vacuum handle power on to illuminate the LED display panel.

With the external protective film removed, the distorted "water mark" optical illusion will instantly vanish—revealing a perfectly crisp, ultra-clear, and immaculate high-definition control panel.

What to Do If a Mark Persists Under the Glass

For 99% of users, simply peeling away the temporary factory protection film will instantly resolve the visual distortion and reveal a spotless display panel.

However, if you have completely peeled off the outer acrylic protection film, wiped the screen surface with a dry microfiber cloth, but a true moisture droplet or physical blemish stubbornly remains visible deep behind the sealed glass layer, a rare factory material variance or actual moisture ingress may be present.

1.Record a Continuous Verification Video

Place your vacuum handle under clear, direct lighting. Record a continuous video of at least 1 minute capturing your display screen.

Start the video by pointing to the screen area where you removed the protective film, then turn the display power on and let the camera run continuously for a full minute, slowly tilting the handle so our technical squad can clearly see the exact depth, shape, and placement of the persistent internal mark.

2.Submit Your Direct Support Request

Log into your account portal, attach your 1-minute video, and copy-and-paste the following message directly to our live agents:

  1. Log in to our Customer Support Portal.

  2. Submit a support ticket describing the issue.

  3. Attach a short video (at least 1 minute long) showing the error happening. This will help our technical team diagnose and resolve the issue much faster for you.
