Sterra Flow Pro — E3 Error Appears When Pressing ON OFFUpdated 20 hours ago
If you press the power button on your Sterra Flow Pro and an "E3" error code flashes on the screen instead of the motor turning on, please be completely reassured. This does not mean your high-velocity digital motor has failed or that your machine is broken!
This symptom is caused by an automated Intelligent Power Handshake Lockout. Your Sterra Flow Pro relies on a series of smart signal cables and power sockets to verify a secure connection between the removable battery pack and the motor housing. If the charging cable is still plugged in when you try to turn it on, if the battery pack has shifted slightly out of place, or if a signal pin has poor contact, the vacuum will temporarily block power to protect its circuit boards.
You can easily clear the E3 error cache and restore your vacuum to full high-performance operational status by performing this quick power reset sequence:
The Power Handshake Reset Sequence
Please follow these steps in order to clear the communication block on your unit:
1.Disconnect the Charging Cable Completely
If your vacuum is still plugged into the wall, or if the charging cable is dangling from the handle port, unplug the charger completely and retry pressing the ON/OFF button.
The vacuum's internal safety system is programmed to lock out the motor while it senses an active charging connection. Unplugging it breaks the safety loop and allows the vacuum to switch into standard cleaning mode.
2.Firmly Reseat and Snap the Battery Pack Into Place
Locate the battery release latch on your handle unit and slide the battery pack completely out of its housing track. Check the metal connection pins and signal cable slots for any stray pocket lint or dust.
Slide the battery pack firmly back into the track, pushing down with steady pressure until you hear a distinct, solid "click" sound. This ensures that all motor socket pins and signal lines are perfectly flush and making complete electrical contact.
3.Test the Main ON/OFF Trigger Switch
Press the power button on the handle unit to start the vacuum.
With the charging cable disconnected and the battery pack's signal cables firmly aligned and locked together, a perfect power handshake is achieved—instantly clearing the E3 error code and bringing the motor back to life!
What to Do If the E3 Code Stubbornly Reappears
For the vast majority of users, simply unplugging the charger and re-snapping the battery pack securely into its slot will instantly satisfy the system's safety check and clear the error display.
However, if you have verified the charger is completely disconnected, firmly re-seated the battery on its tracks, but the display panel stubbornly continues to flash "E3" every time you press ON/OFF, the internal signal cables may have sustained structural hardware damage, or the battery pack cells may have encountered an internal fault.

1.Record a Continuous Verification Video
Place your vacuum on an open surface. Record a continuous video of at least 1 minute showing your troubleshooting steps.
Start the video by showing that the charger is disconnected, slide the battery pack out, click it firmly back into place, and then press the ON/OFF button to capture the exact moment the E3 error triggers on screen.
