Sterra Flow Pro — E3 Error — Low Output Current ProtectionUpdated 20 hours ago

If your Sterra Flow Pro display panel flashes an "E3" error code and pauses operations, please be completely reassured. This does not mean your vacuum’s high-velocity digital motor has fried or that your machine is permanently broken!

This symptom is triggered by an automated Intelligent Power Draw Shield. Your Sterra Flow Pro features an advanced circuit system that monitors the flow of electricity from the battery pack to the motor in real time. If the battery pack is sitting slightly loose on its mounting tracks, or if an internal power socket cable experiences a minor connectivity gap, the flow of electricity drops below safe operational thresholds. The smart system instantly deploys the "E3" protection lock to stop a weak current from stressing the lithium-ion cells.

You can easily secure your power connections and clear the E3 error tracking cache by following this quick diagnostic sequence:

The Power Interface Realignment Sequence

Please turn off the vacuum power and ensure the charging cable is disconnected before performing these steps:

1.Firmly Reseat and Lock the Modular Battery Pack

Locate the battery release latch on your handle unit and slide the battery pack completely out of its housing track. Check the inner alignment rails for any stray dust or lint.

Slide the battery pack firmly back into the track, pushing until you hear a distinct, solid "click" sound. This ensures the primary metal power contacts are completely flush and locked together.

2.Check and Secure All Extension Cable Connections

An E3 current drop can also occur if the power lines running down to the motorized floor brush are loose. Detach the aluminum extension rod and the floor brush head. Clean the metal connection pins at both ends with a completely dry cloth.

Reassemble the pieces, pushing the extension rod into the handheld unit and the brush head into the rod until every joint locks together with an audible snap.

3.Perform a Fresh Power Trigger Test.

Pull the power trigger on the handle unit to start the vacuum.

With the battery pack firmly snapped into place and all internal power sockets/extension cables securely aligned, a steady electrical current will flow through the machine, instantly clearing the E3 code and restoring full suction power.

What to Do If the E3 Code Persists

For the majority of users, simply clicking the battery pack tightly into its slot and re-securing the attachment joints clears the low current safety lock right away.

However, if you have meticulously re-seated the battery, checked all attachment sockets, but the display panel stubbornly continues to flash "E3" the moment the trigger is pulled, the internal battery pack cells or an internal power socket cable may have sustained structural hardware damage.

Please log into our Customer Support portal to hand over your file to a live agent so we can coordinate a quick replacement or repair solution.

1.Record a Continuous Verification Video

Place your vacuum on an open surface. Record a continuous video of at least 1 minute capturing your troubleshooting outcome.

Start the video by showing yourself sliding the battery pack out and clicking it firmly back into place. Next, turn the vacuum power on, letting the camera capture the exact moment the E3 error code flashes on the screen within that minute.

2.Submit Your Direct Support Request

Log into your account portal, attach your 1-minute video, and copy-and-paste the following message directly to our live agents:

  1. Log in to our Customer Support Portal.

  2. Submit a support ticket describing the issue.

  3. Attach a short video (at least 1 minute long) showing the error happening. This will help our technical team diagnose and resolve the issue much faster for you.

📌 Support Message Template: "My Sterra Flow Pro is locked on an E3 Error (Low Output Current Protection). I have followed the Help Center guide to firmly reinsert the battery pack, check all attachment sockets, and ensure the power paths are connected, but the current drop error persists. I have attached the required 1-minute troubleshooting video demonstrating the battery connection and error display for immediate review by a live agent."
