Sterra Flow Pro — E1 or E2 LED Flashing Red After Charger Plugged InUpdated 20 hours ago
If your Sterra Flow Pro display screen begins flashing a red "E1" or "E2" error code the exact moment you connect it to power, please be completely reassured. This does not mean your vacuum’s internal motherboard has fried, or that your battery pack has failed!
This symptom is a protective communication known as an active Voltage Regulation Lockout. Your Sterra Flow Pro is built with a highly intelligent Battery Management System (BMS) designed to safeguard the premium lithium-ion cells inside the handle. If a third-party, generic, or non-original charging adapter is plugged into the charging port, the vacuum instantly analyzes the incoming electrical current. If the voltage, amperage, or power frequency deviates even slightly from the vacuum's strict factory specifications, the BMS deploys a total lockout and flashes the E1 or E2 code to block the unauthorized power stream before it can stress the internal components.
You can easily clear this error code cache and restore standard, high-speed charging speeds by verifying your power source:
The Power Source Alignment & Reset Sequence
Please disconnect the current charging cable from your vacuum handle before starting these steps:
1.Verify and Locate Your Original Certified Charger
Locate your power adapter block and inspect the printed text on the casing. Ensure you are using exclusively the original, factory-certified Sterra Flow Pro charging adapter that came packaged with your device.
Using generic phone, laptop, or other household appliance chargers—even if the round metal pin happens to fit into the vacuum's port—will continuously trigger the E1 or E2 safety block.
2.Initiate a Direct Wall Outlet Power Reset
Unplug your original Sterra charger from the wall and let it sit disconnected for 60 seconds to clear its own internal capacitors. Bypass any multi-plug extension cords, power strips, or surge protectors.
Plug the original Sterra charger directly into a known working standard wall outlet.
3.Re-engage the Intelligent Charging Handshake
Firmly insert the original charging pin into the charging port on the Sterra Flow Pro handle.
With the correct, regulated voltage stream successfully verified by the vacuum's smart chips, the red E1 or E2 error flashing will instantly clear, and the screen will transition into its smooth, normal charging display.
What to Do If the E1 or E2 Code Stubbornly Reappears
For 95% of cases, simply swapping out a third-party cable for the genuine, original Sterra Flow Pro charger will immediately satisfy the vacuum's safety protocol and clear the error screen.
However, if you have verified with absolute certainty that you are using the original factory charger, connected it directly to a working wall outlet, but the display stubbornly continues to flash E1 or E2, a minor software glitch within the charging system or a technical fault inside the power block itself may be present.

1.Record a Continuous Verification Video
Plug your charging cable into the vacuum. Record a continuous video of at least 1 minute capturing the display panel screen.
Let the video clearly capture the red E1 or E2 error code flashing for the full minute while connected to power, demonstrating to our engineering team that the lockout remains permanently engaged.
2.Submit Your Direct Support Request

📌 Support Message Template: "The display on my Sterra Flow Pro is flashing a red E1/E2 error code when plugged in. I have read the Help Center guide and verified that I am using the original Sterra Flow Pro charger connected directly to a wall outlet, but the charging system lockout persists. I have attached the required 1-minute troubleshooting video capturing the flashing display behavior for immediate review by a live agent."
