Sterra Flow Pro — Charging Stuck at 95 Percent for HoursUpdated 20 hours ago

If your Sterra Flow Pro charges perfectly up to 95% but then stalls or hangs at that exact number for hours without ever reading 100%, please be completely reassured. This does not mean your battery pack is defective, or that your charging adapter is losing its power!

This symptom is caused by a completely normal Digital Calibration Drift. Your Sterra Flow Pro features an intelligent Battery Management System (BMS) that monitors the precise electrical voltage of the battery cells and translates it into a readable digital percentage on your screen. Over time, if the vacuum is frequently used for short cleaning bursts and then immediately placed back on the charger (frequent partial charging), the smart digital chip can lose track of where the absolute maximum and minimum power boundaries sit. The battery cells are actually packed with 100% full energy, but the digital display gets confused at the upper threshold and safely freezes the number at 95% to prevent overcharging.

You can easily sync the digital display chip back up with the physical energy cells by completing this simple deep calibration sequence:


The Battery Full-Discharge Calibration Sequence

To completely reset the electronic percentage trackers, please perform this simple deep cycle at home:

1.Fully Drain the Battery Cells to Absolute Zero

Disconnect the charging cable and use your vacuum normally around your home until the battery drops down to 0% and the motor shuts off completely.

If the vacuum shuts off, pull the trigger once or twice more to make sure all remaining residual energy inside the system is entirely spent and the internal smart chip registers a completely empty baseline.

2.Allow the Battery Core to Rest and Stabilize

Do not plug the vacuum into the wall immediately after draining it.

Let the machine rest completely unpowered for about 30 minutes in a cool, dry room. This allows the lithium-ion cell chemistry to cool down and stabilize back to ambient room temperature before it accepts an incoming electrical current.

3.Perform a Continuous, Uninterrupted Recharge to 100%

Plug the charging adapter directly into a reliable wall outlet and connect it to your Sterra Flow Pro handle.

Let the vacuum charge continuously and without interruption all the way from 0% back up to full capacity. Do not unplug it halfway through to check it. Draining the system completely and feeding it a steady stream of power allows the internal BMS chip to reset its parameters and proudly display a clear, pristine 100% reading!


What to Do If the Percentage Remains Stalled

For the vast majority of users, completing a single full discharge-and-recharge cycle completely realigns the digital display boundaries, instantly correcting the percentage readout. We recommend performing this quick calibration once every 2 to 3 months to keep your smart screen perfectly accurate.

However, if you have run the battery completely dry to absolute zero, let it rest, and charged it continuously for over 5 hours, but the display panel stubbornly continues to lock up at 95%, an internal software glitch or a minor cell balancing issue within the battery management board may be present.

1.Record a Continuous Verification Video:1 Minute.

Connect your charging cable to the vacuum. Record a continuous video of at least 1 minute capturing the display screen while it is actively plugged into power.

Let the video clearly capture the stalled 95% screen reading for the full minute to demonstrate to our engineering squad that the digital tracking remains frozen under power. 

2.Submit Your Direct Support Request:1 Minute.

Log into your account portal, attach your 1-minute video, and copy-and-paste the following message directly to our live agents:

  1. Log in to our Customer Support Portal.

  2. Submit a support ticket describing the issue.

  3. Attach a short video (at least 1 minute long) showing the error happening. This will help our technical team diagnose and resolve the issue much faster for you.
