Sterra Flow Pro — 2-in-1 Brush Does Not RotateUpdated 18 hours ago

If your Sterra Flow Pro 2-in-1 motorized brush accessory has completely stopped spinning even though the main vacuum handle still has plenty of power, please be completely reassured. This does not mean your multi-function head or your vacuum electronics are permanently broken!

This symptom indicates that the accessory has deployed an automated Mechanical Resistance Guard or is experiencing a simple Contact Line Gap. The Sterra Flow Pro 2-in-1 brush features an internal motorized drive system that spins high-density bristles to sweep up fine dust and pet fur. If long hairs or dense debris wrap tightly around the core axle bearings, it creates heavy physical friction, prompting the safety system to instantly pause the roller to protect the gears. Alternatively, because the vacuum utilizes heavy pushing and twisting leverage, the electric connection pins between the extension rod and the brush head can shift slightly, creating a minor gap that temporarily breaks the electronic circuit.

You can easily release this physical restriction and restore a continuous power connection by completing this quick 2-minute optimization sequence:

The 2-in-1 Brush Clearing & Alignment Sequence

Please turn off your vacuum and detach the 2-in-1 brush accessory completely before performing these optimization steps:

Deep Clean the 2-in-1 Brush Roller and Axle

Turn the 2-in-1 brush accessory over in your hand. Slide the release clip to carefully lift the roller brush core out of its plastic housing casing.

Take a pair of household scissors and carefully cut straight through any tightly bound hair, pet fur, strings, or threads wrapped around the bristled cylinder. Pay close attention to the side end caps and axle tracks—pull away any packed lint or hidden hairballs so the roller can spin 100% freely by hand.

Inspect and Wipe the Electronic Contact Pins

Look closely at the male and female connection joints where the accessory meets the extension rod, and where the rod meets the main vacuum handle.

Take a completely dry microfiber cloth or a cotton swab and gently wipe down the small golden metallic electrical prongs to remove any microscopic layer of pocket lint, grit, or dust that could be acting as an electrical insulator.

Firmly Reseat and Lock the Connection Rails

Reinstall the clean roller back into the 2-in-1 housing and snap the locking tab shut. Slide the accessory straight into the extension rod nozzle, and push them firmly together until you hear a sharp, distinct "click" sound.

Next, push the floor brush set firmly against the extension rod and handle to ensure it seats completely flush. Pull the power trigger—with the hair cleared and the electronic pins firmly compressed, your 2-in-1 brush will instantly spin at maximum velocity!

What to Do If the 2-in-1 Brush Still Refuses to Rotate

For nearly all users, thoroughly untangling the bristle bearings and firmly reseating the attachment cuffs to close any contact line gaps will instantly re-engage the power line, bringing the motorized brush right back to life.

However, if you have completely cleared the 2-in-1 roller of all hair, wiped down the golden contact prongs, and clicked the components together with firm pressure, but the brush roller stubbornly refuses to rotate, either the micro-motor inside the accessory head or the internal wiring circuit inside the extension rod has experienced a hardware breakdown.
