Sterra Flow — Battery LED Light RedUpdated 10 hours ago

If the battery LED light on your Sterra Flow suddenly turns solid or flashes Red, please be completely reassured. This is not a defect or a hardware failure!

The red light is a proactive Low-Energy Reserve Alert. It is simply your vacuum's way of communicating that its power cell has successfully completed its cleaning cycle and needs to return to its docking station to refuel. The internal smart battery management system triggers this red light when the charge drops below a specific threshold to protect the lithium-ion cells from draining completely to absolute zero, which extends the overall lifespan of your vacuum.

Best Practices for Charging Your Sterra Flow

To clear the red light and ensure your battery remains healthy for years to come, follow these two simple steps:

1. Let the Battery Cool Down Briefly

If you just finished a heavy cleaning session on Maximum Boost Mode, the battery cells will naturally be warm. For optimal battery lifespan, let the vacuum rest in a shaded spot for a few minutes before plugging it into the charger.

2. Connect Securely to a Direct Wall Socket

Plug the genuine Sterra Flow charging adapter directly into a wall outlet, then connect the pin securely into the vacuum's battery port. The LED light will shift colors to indicate it is actively drawing power. Leave it undisturbed until the charging cycle completes.

Still Seeing a Red Light After Charging?

For 99% of users, leaving the vacuum on its charger for the recommended 4 to 5 hours will turn the indicator light back to its healthy status, ready for another deep clean.

However, if your Sterra Flow has been plugged in for over 5 full hours but the LED light stubbornly remains red or refuses to hold a charge, your power adapter or the battery module itself may need a routine replacement.
