Sterra Breeze — Unable to Detect Air Pollution or Bad Air QualityUpdated 11 hours ago
If your Sterra Breeze air purifier screen seems stuck on a single air quality reading, displays unusually low pollution numbers when there is visible smoke or odors in the room, or fails to change colors entirely, please be completely reassured.
This symptom indicates a Sensor Occlusion Loop inside the internal particle sensor. The main purification fans and HEPA filters are still working perfectly safely in the background. The Sterra Breeze tracks air purity using a high-precision, miniature laser sensor that measures particle density. Over months of continuous operation, a stray clump of lint, thick pet hair, or micro-debris can settle directly over the sensor’s intake window, blocking its vision and causing it to falsely report that your room's air is perfectly clean.
⚠️ Important Notice: Please do not blow compressed air forcefully into the sensor grills, or poke cotton swabs, toothpicks, or needles into the small intake slits on the side of the machine. The internal laser lens is finely calibrated; pushing sharp objects or high-pressure air through the casing can scratch the delicate mirror assembly or misalign the sensor track permanently.
Action Required: Connect to a Live Agent for Showroom Servicing
Because restoring an occluded airflow sensor or replacing a non-responsive laser module requires opening the calibrated sensor housing, cleaning the lens under a static-safe light, or replacing the digital reader board, we fast-track this issue immediately.
