Step 1: Emergency Water & Power Shutdown
Before calling support, quickly cut off the water and power supply to prevent any further moisture from entering the system.
Unplug the Unit: With completely dry hands, unplug the Sterra 8 power cord from your wall electrical socket.
Turn Off the Under-Sink Valve: Trace the thin water line from the back of your machine down to your plumbing under the sink. Turn the handle on the metal splitter (T-valve) completely to the CLOSED position.
Turn Off the Inline Valve: If you see a small blue plastic valve along the thin tubing, flip the lever so it sits at a 90-degree angle (perpendicular to the tube) to ensure the water is completely stopped.
