Sterra 7 — Fine Particles or Air Bubbles in Dispensed WaterUpdated 14 minutes ago
If you have recently noticed tiny, floating particles in your glass or feel that your water flow has slowed down, it is a very common sign that your Sterra 7 filters have reached maximum capacity and are due for a replacement.
Filters act like a sponge over months of heavy use; they trap sediment, minerals, and microscopic particles to keep your drinking water pure. When they get full, they can no longer hold onto these microscopic particles efficiently.
How to Check If Your Filter Needs Replacing
While we generally recommend replacing your Sterra 7 filters every 6 months to ensure optimal water quality, you can easily verify your filter health directly on your machine:
Locate the touch control panel on your Sterra 7.
Press the 'Tap Self-Care' button.
Look at the filter life indicator color:
🟢 Green: Your filter is healthy and has plenty of life left.
🟡 Yellow / Orange: Your filter is nearing the end of its lifespan. It is a good time to order a replacement set, so you have them on hand.
🔴 Red: Your filter has fully expired. It needs to be replaced immediately to restore perfect water filtration and flow rate.
When to Replace Your Filters
Standard Timeline: Every 6 months under normal household usage.
Heavy Usage households: If you have a large family or use a high volume of water daily, your filters may fill up slightly faster (around the 4 to 5-month mark).
If it has been more than 6 months since your last filter change, head over to our online store to grab a fresh filter pack. Replacing them takes less than two minutes and instantly restores that crisp, perfectly pure taste!
