Sterra 7 — E17 All Icons Blinking — Hot Module Flow ErrorUpdated 35 minutes ago

Your Sterra 7 features an intelligent heating system designed to give you instant hot water. For your safety, if the machine detects that water is flowing into the heating tank too slowly, it will temporarily disable the heater. This prevents the heating element from dry-firing or getting damaged.

Follow these simple checks to restore the proper water flow rate and get your hot water back.

Step 1: Check Your Water Supply Valves

The most common cause of slow flow is a partially closed valve under your sink or at the back of the machine.

Please verify that both of the following valves are completely open:

  1. The Main Under-Sink Valve: Locate the source valve where the Sterra 7 connects to your home's water pipe underneath your sink. Make sure it is turned fully to the OPEN position.

  2. The Blue Valve: Locate the small blue valve on the water tube leading directly into the Sterra 7. Ensure it is turned completely parallel to the tube (fully open), not at a right angle (closed or restricted).

Also, take a quick look along the entire length of the water tube to ensure it hasn't been bent, kinked, or pinched behind cabinetry.

Step 2: Check Your Filter Age

If both valves are wide open but the water flow is still restricted, your internal filters may be clogged and overdue for a change.

  • When was your last filter change? If your filters have been in use for more than 6 months, they have likely trapped enough sediment to slow down the incoming water pressure.

🎁 Our Support Promise: If your filters are older than 6 months, please proceed with ordering a replacement set. If our support team later determines that a mechanical issue was the actual cause of your slow flow, any filters used during this troubleshooting process will be replaced completely free of charge.

Still Not Heating?

If you have verified that all valves are fully open and your filters are fresh, but your Sterra 7 still refuses to heat water, the internal flow sensor may need a professional calibration.

Please contact our Customer Support Team. Let us know that you've already checked both valves and your filter age, and we will quickly arrange an on-site technician visit to resolve the issue for you!

  1. Log in to our Customer Support Portal.

  2. Submit a support ticket describing the issue.
