Sterra 7 — E16 Cold Ambient and Hot Icons Blinking — Flow Rate ErrorUpdated 39 minutes ago
Your Sterra 7 relies on a precise water pressure balance to function optimally. If the water flow rate drops too low (less than 0.36 liters per minute) or spikes too high (greater than 2.0 liters per minute), or if the drain line becomes blocked, the machine may restrict dispensing to protect its internal system.
Follow this guide to check your water lines and get your water flowing perfectly again.
Are You Within Your 7-Day Installation Window?
If your Sterra 7 was installed within the last 7 days, do not attempt to adjust the plumbing lines yourself.
Please take a quick photo or short video of the issue (showing the water flow or the error screen) and contact our Customer Support Team immediately. We will fast-track a free, priority technician visit to your home to correct the installation setup.

Self-Service Troubleshooting Steps
If your installation occurred more than 7 days ago, you can check a few common culprits before booking a service visit.
1. Check for Low Water Flow (Less than 0.36 LPM)
If your water is dispensing at a painful trickle, the issue is usually a restricted water supply input:
Check the under-sink source valve: Ensure your main under-sink water supply valve is turned completely to the "open" position. If it was bumped or partially closed, it will choke the water pressure.
Inspect the water supply hose: Look behind the machine and under your sink. Ensure the thin water intake tube isn't bent, kinked, or pinched tightly against a wall or heavy object.
2. Check for High Water Flow (Greater than 2.0 LPM)
If your water is rushing out aggressively, your home's water pressure might be too high for the machine's internal regulators:

3. Check the Drain Line Blockage
If your machine is alerting you to a blocked drain line (applicable to models with automatic drainage systems):
Locate the thin drain line exiting the back of your Sterra 7.
Ensure the end of the tube sitting in your sink or drain pipe isn't submerged deep under stagnant water, clogged with food debris, or pinched shut.
