Sterra 7 — E05 Volume and Cold Icons Blinking on Touch PanelUpdated 18 minutes ago
If your Sterra 7 is turning off unexpectedly, failing to respond to touches, or acting irregularly, it may be experiencing a minor power interruption caused by a local power surge or an internal connection issue.
Please follow these steps to safely reset your unit and diagnose the issue:
Step 1: Perform a Power Cycle
Often, a quick system reset will clear up any sudden operational glitches:
Turn off your Sterra 7 at the main power outlet and unplug it from the wall.
Wait 30 full seconds to allow the internal system memory to completely clear.
Plug the unit back in, turn it on, and monitor its behavior.
Step 2: Check for Recent Power Interruption
Did your home recently experience a power trip, electrical outage, or sudden power surge?
If yes, your machine's safety mechanisms may have triggered. If the power cycle in Step 1 did not restore normal operation, your unit will require a quick diagnostic inspection.
Step 3: Check for Water Under the Machine
Take a look at the base of your Sterra 7. Do you see any water pooling or leaking from the bottom of the unit?
If you notice a leak: Please stop use immediately, unplug the machine, turn off the water supply valve, and contact us right away.
When to Request a Repair Visit: If your unit continues to operate irregularly after a power cycle, or if you notice water pooling at the bottom of the machine, your Sterra 7 may require an on-site hardware check or a wiring adjustment.
