My water purifier emits loud noise and/or too hot to touch.Updated a month ago

This is an issue indicating that the machine doesn't have proper ventilation resulting in the motor heating up and functioning irregularly. To help resolve this issue, please do the following:

STEP 1:  Turn off the machine and let it stay off for 1 hour to cool down the motor.

STEP 2: Clean the dust filter located at the back of the machine. Insert it back once it is cleaned and dried.

STEP 3: Create more space on all sides of the water purifier. Remove all objects/appliances. At least 20cm (8 inches) of space on all sides of the machine.

STEP 4: Turn the machine on once it has been an hour.

If the problem continues after following these steps, please take a video (30 seconds to 1 minute) clearly capturing the loud noise. Once done, please get in touch with our customer support team at https://support.sterra.sg/en-US/ssp/login and send the video for further help. We are here to assist you in resolving any issues. Thank you!
