The blinking red light could mean either the new filter hasn't been detected by the unit or the current filter is already used up and needs to be replaced.</p><p><u><strong>IF THE FILTER HAS BEEN CHANGED WITHIN 30 DAYS</strong></u></p><ul><li style="font-size: 16px; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">The unit needs to be able to detect that the inserted filter is already new. To do this we need to reset the filter. To reset the filter, p<span style="text-decoration: none;">ress and hold the center button for 7 seconds until you hear the beep sound.</span></li></ul><p><strong><u>IF THE FILTER HAS NOT BEEN CHANGED FOR MORE THAN 30 DAYS</u></strong></p><ul><li style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;">The unit tells us that the current inserted filter has been used up and needs replacing. </li><li style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;">Replace the current filter with a new Sterra Moon filter to resolve the issue.</li><li style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 16px;">Reset the filter.
