Sterra Y — Compressor IssueUpdated a day ago
If you notice that your Sterra Y cooling engine (compressor) is completely silent, refuses to start, or is emitting unusual sounds, such as loud metallic clicking, rhythmic knocking, or an aggressive buzzing roar, please take immediate steps to protect your machine.
The compressor is the primary motor that runs the refrigeration cycle to chill your water. A stalled or noisy compressor indicates a critical mechanical or electrical breakdown deep within the sealed cooling loop. Do not attempt to tap the machine, shake the chassis, or adjust the internal wiring yourself. Forcing a failing compressor to stay plugged in can permanently damage the electronics.
Please execute these emergency safety steps right away:
Step 1: Safely Disconnect the System
Power Down: Reach behind the machine and toggle the main power switch to OFF ( O ).
Unplug the Unit: Pull the power cord out of the wall outlet completely to safely cut all electrical current.
Leave it Isolated: Keep the dispenser turned off until a certified field service team member arrives to inspect it.
