Sterra X — Machine Does Not Turn OnUpdated 2 days ago

If your Sterra X shows absolutely no signs of life—meaning the front panel remains completely black, no lights illuminate, and the machine makes zero sound when buttons are pressed—the unit is not receiving electricity, or its internal safety fuse has blown.

Please follow these 3 quick steps to check your power source and safely reset your system:

Power Source & Outlet Verification Sequence

1.1. Test the wall socket with another appliance: Isolate the electricity source.

Unplug your Sterra X power cord from the wall outlet. Take a small, working household electronic device (like a hair dryer, a kettle, or a phone charger) and plug it directly into that exact same wall outlet slot.

  • If the other appliance doesn't work either: Your wall socket is dead or a household circuit breaker has tripped. Reset your main home breaker box or move the Sterra X to a different wall outlet.

  • If the other appliance works perfectly: The wall outlet is supplying good electricity. Move to the next step.

2.2. Remove all extension cords and adapters: Eliminate voltage drops.

If your Sterra X is currently plugged into an extension cord, power strip, or multi-plug adapter, unplug it immediately. Plug the Sterra X power cable directly into a main wall outlet to ensure it receives a full, steady electrical current.

3.3. Perform a 60-second power cycle: Triggers electrical reset.

Leave the Sterra X completely unplugged from the wall for 60 seconds. After a full minute has passed, plug it firmly back into a verified, working wall outlet. Locate the main power rocker switch at the back of the unit and ensure it is toggled to ON ( I ).

Still completely unresponsive after these steps?

If you have verified that your wall outlet is working perfectly and the machine is plugged directly into the wall but remains completely dead, the internal Power PCB has suffered a component failure.
