Sterra Beam — Display Shows F2Updated 14 hours ago

If your Sterra Beam display screen is showing the error code F2, your device's built-in power management system has been activated to protect your battery.

This specific code indicates an Unstable or Incompatible Charging Current. It triggers when the incoming electrical voltage doesn't match the precise charging profile your device requires, which typically happens if a non-original charger block, a third-party cable, or a faulty wall outlet is being used. To prevent battery degradation or overheating, the smart safety chip automatically pauses the charging cycle.

How to Clear the F2 Error Code

To safely reset your charging connection and clear the F2 alert, please walk through these two simple checks:

Switch to the Original Sterra Charger:.

Disconnect any third-party phone chargers, laptop bricks, or generic cables you might be using. Locate and plug in the official charger and cable that came bundled inside your original Sterra Beam packaging. The device's smart chips are custom-calibrated to recognize the exact power signature of the authentic factory charger.

Isolate the Power Outlet:

If the code remains while using the original charger, unplug it from the current wall socket or extension cord. Plug the official charger directly into a completely different wall outlet in a different room. This rules out low voltage, loose socket contacts, or a tripped circuit breaker.

💡 Charging Best Practice: Avoid charging your Sterra Beam via multi-plug extension cords or overloaded power strips that are sharing heavy electrical loads with other appliances. Plugging directly into a dedicated wall socket ensures a clean, steady flow of electricity.

What to Do If the F2 Code Persists

If you are using the official factory-issued charger and cable plugged directly into a known working wall outlet, but the F2 code remains frozen on your screen, your original charging brick or the internal power port may have suffered a component failure.
