Sterra Care is an optional extended warranty add-on designed to provide long-term peace of mind for your eligible Sterra products.
Activation: Coverage begins automatically the day after your standard Manufacturer Warranty expires.
Pricing & Duration: Specific coverage periods and pricing details are clearly outlined on each item's relevant product page or your official purchase documentation.
Policy Terms: Sterra Care is strictly tied to your unique product serial number and order ID. Once activated, it is non-transferable and non-refundable.
What Sterra Care Covers
Subject to standard warranty guidelines, Sterra Care protects your product against mechanical caused by manufacturing defects that arise during normal, everyday domestic use.
In the event of a covered defect, Sterra will, at its discretion, provide one of the following remedies:
Repair: Repair the product at no additional cost.
Component Replacement: Replace defective parts using new or refurbished components that meet equivalent performance standards.
Alternative Remedy: Provide another resolution deemed appropriate by our technical team.
*Note: Unless explicitly stated otherwise on the product page, all functional parts required to fix a covered fault are fully included under this plan.
What Sterra Care Does Not Cover
To ensure a smooth claims process, please be aware that Sterra Care does not cover cosmetic wear, accidental damage, or standard maintenance items. Exclusions include:
Consumables & Wear Parts: Filters, O-rings, seals, tubing, valves, pumps, and similar wear-and-tear components (unless explicitly stated otherwise).
Aesthetic Issues: Cosmetic damage, minor surface defects, or blemishes that do not impact the operational functionality of the product.
External Factors: Accidental damage, misuse, neglect, abuse, or unpredictable external events (e.g., power surges, environmental damage).
Unauthorized Service: Any issues or damages resulting from third-party modifications, self-repairs, or unauthorized service attempts.
